This text is meant to appear below the above image.
Ok, now I can't see my cursor. See why I use Blogger in Draft? Nevermind; I'll just carry on.
This image--the Durham books make lovely test images, don't they--was inserted using regular Blogger. The size is set to "Medium" and it is supposed to appear to the left of the text.
Where is my cursor? Oh, there it is. Test text follows . . .

And this concludes this test of Blogger's image placement, as seen via Feedburner's email subscriptions. If you had trouble seeing the text or these images, please email me at tia dot nevitt at gmail dot com so I can figure out what's going on. Hopefully, you'll at least be able to read this last paragraph.

Ok, now Yahoo is taking forever to deliver the damned thing.
Not sure whether you wait for feedback or not.
I use firefox version 3.0.6
I can see both pictures and text appears where it should appear refering to the content of the text.
Feedback would be awesome, because Yahoo isn't delivering my post. Grr.
Firefox rules!
Hate to screw up your day but it does not read right in google.
I get the same message about 10 times in both my Google Reader and on Chrome. It's kind of annoying...
Did you get the same post ten times, or did the "test text" appear ten times? Because the repeating test text was intentional, however annoying (sorry). I wanted to see how the text flowed around the image.
And no, the text that was supposed to appear under the image didn't appear there, due to word wrapping differences between the blogger edit box and the actual finished product. It would be nice if we had true what-you-see-is-what-you-get editing.
I never got the email at my Yahoo account, which is just frustrating because I blasted this post to my entire audience, only to have either Feedburner or Yahoo to blow it.
I'll leave this post up for the rest of the day for any other feedback that might come in.
Hi Tia,
Only for the "rest of the day"? :(
Oh well, thanks for the lovely display of the covers. Hopefully, I'll have a new one soon!
-David.
David, you don't really want me to leave this silly test post up, do you?
I do think you've been very fortunate, cover-wise.
Hey, any publicity is... Well, I mean any positive publicity is welcome. But even just a day's worth is nice. Thanks.
In google reader it looks a bit different.

That's the whole word-wrapping problem that I mentioned above. I really have no control over it, and I'm beginning to think I have no control over the way Yahoo displays my feed emails.
And I think I'll keep this post up after all. It just turned out to be so danged amusing.
Hmm . . . maybe I should put all my images to the right instead of to the left? Not sure if it will help, but it's worth a try.
{chuckle} Yes, keep the post. The comments are enough fun they're worth it! {REALLY BIG GRIN}
