You use Firefox, check on the Twitkit addon. It puts Twitter in a sidebar so you can watch our tweets and still do whatever on the computer. I love it.
Best Twitter advice I've seen yet is consider it like a river, don't try to keep track of everything, jump in when you want, get wet, then jump back out while it keeps flowing on by :>)
Glad you've joined, Tia! Like you, I only get to be on Twitter at night when I'm not working (except for most of this week, since I'm off). It can be a bit daunting to come back at night, check Twitter, and find a ton of tweets so Mulluane's advice is very valuable!
I am not much of a Twitter so it seems. I tried it and then forgot to update, enter and all the rest, sooo not my cup of tea. I wish you luck in this though. Quite a few people find it remarkably interesting.
We'll see how it goes. I'm going to follow Mulluane's advice and just dabble my toes in the water when I have time.
The browser widget isn't for me, I don't think. I think I'd rather have a desktop widget.
