I'm much the same way. However, I am a bit curious about eBooks. Do they add to the novel reading experience like a typically hypertexted document adds to the experience of say, a news site? Is there an index? Jumps to each chapter? Perhaps other extras? I don't know because I've never purchased an eBook.

From my experience it's just a pdf of the actual book with an index that you can use for the chapters and a bookmarking system.

It would be good for one of those 'choose your own adventure' novels that was so popular when I was growing up. Now there's an idea.
