Man, this blog is a big job sometimes. I have a lot planned, including two debut announcements from last week, an interview with Morgan Howell that I haven't even written yet, the wrap-up for King's Property, plus I think I missed a debut from August. Over Labor Day weekend (last weekend) I had family in town and was very busy with them and it still seems like I have not caught up.
Author Catch-Up
Over at Nathalie Mallet's blog, she has a post up pointing to some truly entertaining audio files of the first three chapters. I love that guy's deep voice and sense of drama! After listening to the samples of Princes and Acacia, I may just have to start buying audio books. That way, I can listen to books while I am working. (Oops; did I say that?)
Over at David Anthony Durham's blog, you can see the other truly breathtaking cover for ACACIA . . . in the German release. He has lucked out as far as covers are concerned. He has a discussion going on about the cover for his paperback release of Acacia.
Lisa Shearin is taking questions for her characters in Magic Lost, Trouble Found over at her blog. The first batch of answers are due this weekend.
Jennifer Estep is going to soon be my first debut "graduate" (not counting Morgan Howell, whose first two books I'm covering at once) and I have some special things planned in October, including an advance review of Hot Mama and an interview.
Blog Changes
I still have quite a few blogs to add to my blogroll, so if you have blogrolled me and I have not reciprocated, please be patient! Last weekend was busy with the extended family and I'm still getting over a cold. (I know . . . excuses, excuses.)
I want two sidebars, so I am trying to figure out how to get that done. I dearly wish I had started this blog on WordPress! If anyone has any technical tips, I'd love to hear it!
And I added a new wiget that shows the books that I am thinking about reading next.

Tia,
Nice to see your blog growing like this! It's clearly a success story so far.
David.
Thanks, David! It certainly has been fun.
I went looking for Princes and also for Thief With No Shadow today at Borders and neither one was on the shelf. I don't know if that's a good thing (sold out) or a bad thing (not in stock). I guess it will have to be Amazon.
By the way, I heard about both books here.
I'm glad to hear that! I found Thief in the bookstore, so maybe they are simply sold out. I especially loved Thief With No Shadow -- it was one of my favorites. Be prepared for a truly unique story! The ending was a bit rushed into a "happily ever after" but I still enjoyed it.
Neener. My review of Estep's new one was turned in to Front Street Reviews today. There aren't any good moments like the condom in Striker's uniform (that was truly a once-in-a-writer's-lifetime moment), but overall... well, I don't want to spoil anything before it gets posted.
;)
You have me curious now; I will look for it.
