- Amazon Ink (Amazon USA - UK - Canada) by Lori Devoti (urban fantasy debut--ok, she's not really a debut author, but she's a friend of this blog, so she gets a mention. ;) Juno sent me a copy of her book)
- Nights of Villjamur (Amazon USA - UK - Canada) by Mark Charan Newton

The Demon's Lexicon is REALLY good, one of my favorite reads this year.
I am half way through "Nights of Villjamur" and so far I enjoyed most of it :)
Although I realize only now that "Nights of Villjamur" is not technically Mark Newton's debut novel. He published last year "The Reef" at Pendragon Press.
It's his USA debut and that's close enough for me. At least, it is according to Amazon.

I'm halfway through Nights of Villjamur and enjoy it a lot.
Especially the description of the town Villjamur is superb.....
