Hot Damn!

I got three columns to work without trashing my template! It's thanks to Mulluane, who pointed me to this page, which is for my Minima Stretch scheme. I couldn't implement the changes exactly as written there, because apparently Blogger changed some variable names on my template since I started this blog. So I simply used what was on the existing template as my guide. It took about two hours.

Definitely start with a template that uses percentage widths rather than a fixed width. Much easier, and much friendlier to your users.

  2. Thanks again, Mulluane!

I do that too, Gav! I try to comment at least once a week so you know I come around, but I do read all your posts.

  3. I was so excited when I finally got mine to work, there was just so much unused space before! Of course now mine probably looks too messy, but oh well, it's always a work in progress, right? Looks great!

  4. Hey now! Congratulations!

I like my 3 column set up, too but customizing certain things are a pain in the neck. I hope you have better luck with your template, Tia.

  5. Thanks, Shaunesay! I'll have to check out your blog!

And Heather, I did the BARE MINIMUM necessary to stick in a third column. No more. So far, everything works, and my blog layout page still allows me to move everything around. For which I am glad.

  8. I'm thinking about posting my template somewhere. It really wasn't very difficult.

I'm glad you guys like it because I wondered if it was too cluttered.
